SyncPoint

Plan with purpose. Execute with confidence.

SyncPoint connects requirements, funding, task planning, execution, and financial evidence in one secure workspace. Program and financial leaders get a shared, decision-ready view from strategic intent to validated outcomes.

One connected product foundation

SyncPoint is ready to run. SyncCore keeps it connected.

SyncPoint gives program teams one place to plan, align, execute, and report. SyncCore supplies the shared data, workflow, access, and integration services behind the product.

The shared foundation

SyncCore

SyncCore provides the shared services that make the SyncPoint modules work as one product: a common data foundation, governed workflows, role-based access, auditability, and integration services. A change to a requirement, task, or funding line is reflected wherever that fact is used.

SyncCore is also available as a separate commercial platform license for organizations and software vendors that want to build and host products under their own brand. See licensing and pricing.

The ready-to-run product

SyncPoint

SyncPoint is Pioneering Evolution’s commercial product for program planning, execution, and financial performance. It is delivered as a subscription and brings six connected modules together for the way Navy and Defense program offices work.

Instead of reconciling disconnected spreadsheets and systems, teams work from a shared operating picture of priorities, resources, tasking, and execution—so they can see risk earlier and act with confidence.

Capability

The six SyncPoint modules

Each module is useful on its own. Together they connect the full PPBE lifecycle—from program needs and budget controls through allocation, task planning, execution, and reporting—without stitching together disconnected tools.

01

Budget

Budget formulation and phasing in one place, from the program objective through the current-year spend plan, with prior-year positions retained for comparison rather than overwritten.

02

Requirements

Capture and traceability of program requirements, so that every dollar planned can be tied back to the requirement that justifies it and the deliverable it buys.

03

Budget Allocation Tracker

The BAT gives the allocation picture as it actually stands: what was allocated, to whom, against what authority, and what remains. Changes are recorded, not silently replaced.

04

Task Planning

Task package definition and planning, including scope, the responsible organization, and the funding line that carries it.

05

Execution Planning

The bridge between the plan and the obligation and expenditure reality, so execution variance is visible while there is still time to act on it.

06

Reports

Reporting and dashboards built from the same data everything else uses. No separate reporting spreadsheet to reconcile at the end of the month.

Why it is different

Built for defense program execution

Pioneering Evolution brings decades of experience supporting Navy acquisition and financial operations to SyncPoint. The product is designed around the way program offices plan, manage resources, execute funding, and explain change.

Designed for defense acquisition

The data model reflects appropriations, colors of money, and the actual sequence of budget formulation and execution. It is shaped by Pioneering Evolution’s experience supporting Navy program offices and financial operations.

Enter it once

A fact is entered where it originates and is used everywhere else. The reduction in manual effort is real, but the more valuable result is that two reports of the same number stop disagreeing.

History is kept, not overwritten

Positions are retained so that a prior plan can be compared to the current one and the change between them can be explained, which is what an audit or a program review actually asks for.

CMMI Maturity Level 3 development

The platform is built under Pioneering Evolution’s CMMI Level 3 appraised development processes, with architecture decisions recorded as durable, reviewable artifacts.

Configured for your organization

Configure roles, organizational structures, appropriations, fiscal-year access, and workflows to fit your team. Every tenant stays on the current product baseline and receives ongoing platform improvements.

Your data stays yours

Customer data remains the property of the customer and is exported in a documented open format on request or at termination. That commitment is written into the published license terms.

The SyncCore advantage

A common foundation for every SyncPoint module

SyncCore gives SyncPoint the connected information, governed workflows, controlled access, and integration services that help program teams operate from the same trusted picture.

One trusted record

Requirements, tasks, funding, and execution information are shared across SyncPoint instead of maintained as separate copies in separate tools. Teams can make decisions from the same current facts.

Workflows that hold together

Approvals, changes, and handoffs stay connected to the work and funding they affect, giving teams a clear path from intent through execution and reporting.

Governed access and accountability

Role- and attribute-based access controls help ensure people see and act on the information appropriate to their responsibilities, with meaningful activity and change history.

Integration that preserves context

Bring data from existing systems of record into SyncPoint without losing the connections among program needs, financial data, tasks, and execution status.

History you can explain

SyncCore preserves the lineage of key information and changes, so teams can compare prior and current positions, answer questions quickly, and support program reviews.

Built to evolve with you

As your organization grows or priorities change, SyncPoint can be configured for new teams, structures, and workflows while keeping every module connected to the same product foundation.

Integration

Bringing your existing systems in

SyncPoint connects with your existing systems of record through documented APIs, structured file exchange, and a repeatable integration framework—helping teams bring trusted program and financial data into one operating picture.

How ingestion works

  • Adapter SDK for a repeatable ingestion path per source system
  • Documented REST APIs for system-to-system exchange
  • Structured flat-file exchange where an API is not available
  • Canonical events under a versioned schema, so consumers are insulated from upstream change

Typical integration targets

Program offices commonly ask us to connect financial systems of record, requirements repositories, contract writing and payment systems, and enterprise analytics environments.

We work with customers to align available integration options to the systems and data that matter most to their programs.

Security and hosting

Where it runs and how it is protected

Hosting
Deployable to a commercial cloud region selected by the customer, or into the customer’s own environment where the license tier permits. Dedicated single-tenant hosting is available as a published add-on.
Access control
Role-based and attribute-based access control is enforced by the platform layer rather than implemented separately in each module, with audit logging of access and change.
Tenant isolation
Each tenant’s data is logically isolated within the platform, with dedicated single-tenant deployment available where an organization requires physical separation.
Accreditation support
SyncPoint is engineered to support customer deployments with Impact Level 4 (IL4) security requirements. Pioneering Evolution provides security documentation, control mapping, and evidence packages to support customer accreditation activities.
Data ownership and exit
Customer data remains the property of the customer and is exported in a documented open format on request or at termination.
Service availability
99.5 percent monthly availability for hosted environments, measured excluding scheduled maintenance, with service credits for shortfalls.
